As part of SALA FESTIVAL 2012, CACSA presented in an ‘empty building’ on North Terrace. In a strategic move to again present contemporary art projects in the Adelaide CBD, CACSA CONTEMPORARY: New South Australian Art, presented 9 South Australian artists in the Du Plessis Building, North Terrace, coincidentally sited next to The Galerie, venue for the groundbreaking THE NEW NEW in 2010. This project again provided innovative professional artistic opportunities for South Australian artists in a CBD venue with high public accessibility.
